Pictures

Everyone likes to see what exactly they are going to purchase! Putting a picture in your auction can improve your chances of selling your item by 90%. When putting a picture in your auction, make sure it describes the item visually. Take several pictures and show the whole item. If a doll has a torn shirt, show it in one of your pictures. Also, make sure the picture/pictures are clear, and not blurry. A blurry picture can frustrate the potential buyer, and make he or she leave your auction quickly. If you are using a scanner or digital camera, make sure you know how to use it correctly, and that the lens or scanner glass is clean. Once you have your pictures that you are going to use in your description, place them in a folder on your desktop for easy finding. When you are ready to place them in your auction, you will see a "browse" button. Click on this button to find your pictures and upload them. Most auction sites will let you place one picture for free, and others for a small fee. When your pictures are uploaded, you might also have the option to do some other editing to them such as crop, or rotate. We suggest editing your pictures on your computer.
